Check out some of the Live/Studio Recording Projects I've worked on:

Hobson's Choice is my progressive rock band from New Orleans. The group formed back in 1992, back then we were playing a heavy dose of classic cover material including bands like Traffic, King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd. We began writing original material in the next few years and came up with our debut release, New Horizons, pictured here.

2. Procession
3. Passages"
4. Steps of Eight
5. Jan in E moll

After we got the album online at the Mp3 website, we ending up recutting a couple of the songs, editing them down for radio play... first, understand that we stick to time honored prog rock tradition of no song under six (6) minutes.. so, the two edited songs, Raging Sun and Steps of eight were added to the MP3 site. Sadly the MP3 website was bought out and all stored information was dumped... bummer... we will however be joining one or more of the many new replacement online mp3 server sites shortly, stay tuned for more information.

Around 1997, i was travelling alot, working as a sound engineer for both George Porter Jr. and the Funky Meters, so i was visiting New York quite alot. My brother lives there and my partner in crime Albert also lives there. I decided to take a musical vacation and get back to some roots with Al and we came up (actually my brother Daniel had a strong hand in this concept also) with an idea to delve into Techno music with a theme of Star Trek samples to complete the picture. It was a wonderful time and we put out this album, calling ourselves the Bleecker Brothers.

Almost a year and half later, we decided to do another project together. This time however, our focus was purely on the music. I was in a period of transition having left my engineering jobs and drifting for several months, so going to NYC for 3 months was just what i needed. Alot of music was recording in that time. There are incredible moments on this CD... it was the best of times and it was the worst of times.. anyway this album will soon be available on Mp3... till then feel free to contact me for a copy.

I lived in New York (2000-2002) and i must say that the year that followed the completion of Aerial Views was abit crazy. My girlfriend, whom i'd met while recording Aerial, moved back to New Orleans in July 2001... the time we shared together in NY was very special.. but the transition after she left was quite a 'gut check'. I already had several demos sitting around and a few left over songs from Aerial Views, so i figured it was time to make another CD... my NYC job, working as monitor engineer at Irving Plaza was a good source of inspiration and i wrote many of the songs on this CD entitled, 'My Life As A Ghost,' were composed either walking to work or riding home late at night on the subways.

One of the first few musicians i met after moving to NYC was Jeneveve Hall. I was going to join her band as a keyboardist but unfortunately the group broke up before that came to fruition. Oh well. Anyway, we stayed in touch with each other and over time she began to work on her solo material. After 9/11, she (as many artists were) compelled to make a statement. She compiled a CD's worth of material aimed at venting her frustrations with "pascifist" peoples who would rather lay low than stand up to the attrocities that had taken place... it's complex.. but i was more than happy to help her develop the material and record it. We went into John's studio, located only a few blocks from 'ground zero' and with the help of a drummer and an engineer, we put together the CD. I played bass guitar/ keys/ backing vocals. The CD is a nice mix of punk/rock. There are plans to expand on this theme with a follow-up disc and possibly a staged musical.

1. go to hell
2. something to fight about
3. ground zero
4. volcanic pussy
5. appeaser's mirror
