"Say What?!"

Little Richard was another artist who played a special private function at the HOB-NO while i worked there as a monitor engineer. I really manage to meet him or even speak to him.. he flew into the gig seconds before his stage call with body guards / entourage and flew out before the last note was sounded.

Though i did a few looks from him so as to make level adjustments during the show, there wasn't much interaction beyond that.

What is note-worthy, however, is that when the gig was over and we were all breaking down the microphones and cables.. i looked and noticed that he had left his sunglasses on the piano.. hey...

There was no one from his crew were still in the house... I thought about it for a second.. then i quietly put them into my pocket.. no one ever asked about the missing sunglasses, so i ended up taking them home sometime later.

They carry a distinctive scent from his make-up.. weird. Also, let me tell you.. these Italian shades are big.. i mean size-wise.. he wears 'em large.

I kept the glasses along with a special prayer book he authored as was distributing at the show.
